Family Time

At Temple Square

We decided that since the baby wasn't here yet, we should take Kennidy up to Temple Square to see all the lights and have a nice little family outing just the three of us! She loved all the lights, but especially pointing out all the Jesus' in the Visitor's Center. She had so much fun walking around with all the people and the pretty lights that she ran and giggled the whole time! So cute!

Inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, before we went out to see the lights. She loved how big the tree was! (She is in awe of Christmas trees and this one was no exception!)

Sitting on Dad's shoulders to start the night off... Didn't last long.. She wanted to run (walk our pace) with everyone else! It was just too exciting there! :)

Of course Dad had to try to drop her in the cold water!

The only way she would smile for the picture.. saying "Hi!" And waving with it. Her absolute favorite word! She can be crying and be so mad and then look right in your face and say "HI!" with such a cute little voice. It is SO funny!!!

Kennidy had so much fun, she talked and laughed the whole way home almost nonstop! We had never heard her be as big of a chatter box as she was on the car ride home.

All in all, it was a great little family outing with just the three of us before Cooper arrives! Just what Kennidy needed! :)

And I FAILED..... AGAIN!

The Dreaded Glucose Test! 

I took the glucose test this week and failed miserably again! Haha, sometimes I just can't win.. or pass at least!!

I was okay with it since I knew what to expect after having gestational diabetes with Kennidy, until I realized I would have to watch what I eat over Halloween and Thanksgiving! :(   Sad day!!

Good thing i know how to sneak treats in now and then :)

Guess Cooper coming a week early won't be an issue now since they don't want me to go past 39 weeks. Just in time to give us a few days to prepare for Christmas with him after he comes!

27th Week Baby Bump!

So... I have gotten HUGE! And unfortunately, I am only 27 weeks, so I will just get bigger!!! (If that is even possible :) )

 Kennidy loves to rub or hit my belly with HUGE smiles and constantly runs up to kiss or hug the belly! If you ask her where her baby is, she lifts her shirt and rubs her belly. If you ask her where Mom's baby is she runs for my belly, lifts my shirt and kisses or rubs my belly. So cute! She also has started to say Cooper (the name we have chosen for this little boy).

And a few of our family.. it was VERY  windy when we took the family ones.. so bare with us looking funny :)

  AND... Guess who is about to start nursery next week? Mom CANNOT WAIT!!! :)  Miss Kennidy is growing up so FAST! She has learned to sleep in a big girl bed and loves it! Though bedtime isn't quite as quick as it use to be anymore! She loves to knock on her door to let you know she is awake and ready to race to the kitchen for food! And YES, she races out the door as soon as you open it and races for the kitchen! Man, this little girl can EAT!! :) Still super skinny and tall though! We sure love her!!

FAMILY

 Yesterday, a very good family friend (Joe) was married and we all got to go down to the Manti Temple to share with him in the joy! It was the first time since Van and I were married that I have been back to that Temple! I sure do LOVE it!!

Funny thing, we didn't get any photos of the wedding couple.. But we did get a shot of the Temple! That's the best part!! :)

IT'S A........................................

Baby! we originally had our ultrasound set for August 3rd, but since I had massive cramping and bleeding... sorry, tmi! We got an early look at him! Yep! You heard right!

We are very excited for him to arrive in the middle of December! Our little Christmas present!

Someone turned ........ OLD!

  Yesterday was Van's 29th birthday! Wow! Is he getting old, or what??!!! Just kidding... kinda! :)

HAPPY bIRTHDAY TO VAN!

   So for breakfast Miss Kennidy and I took him to Krispy Kreme, since he LOVES their doughnuts! And bonus, you get a free one when the HOT NOW light is on! Kennidy went nuts over her doughnut! I think that might be the first time she has ever had one and she LOVED it almost more than Van did!! While they didn't have any being made when we first arrived, on our way out we stopped to show Miss K all the doughnuts they were making and she just cried! Not sure if it was me taking her picture that made her mad, putting her down so I could take it or just wanting more of the doughnuts.. but she just cried! Little stinker!
 
   We went to Seven Peaks to play in the water since it was SO HOT outside! My sisters came and went down all the slides Van always wants to go on, but doesn't want to always go alone, and I can't go on them being pregnant. Though, as Kenna pointed out.. he would rather go with a 12 and 15 year old girl then by himself.. which is kinda funny! :)    I forgot my camera when we went, so sadly, no photos!

  For dinner we took him to Texas Roadhouse with friends Lance and Jessica and their three kids Harper, Milo and Finley. Kennidy and Finley were so cute together. Though neither one would actually talk to the other. Food was DELICIOUS! And of course, Miss K ate WAY more than is normal for a one year old! The girl loves food, probably a little too much!! :)

The photos are driving me crazy! So they hopefully don't look too funny! And Kennidy would not smile with her eyes open for the camera! She does NOT like the FLASH!
